MEET THE STYLISTS
With an extensive background in extension and color education, Emma is Kansas City's first and only Invisible Bead Elite extension artist, dimensional color enthusiast, and is the creator/owner of Stitch Salon (formerly known as Emma's Style Studio.)
Throughout her life, Emma has always had an eye for style, design, and fashion. She found the beauty industry captivating and even more so, the industryโs ability to empower and build confidence. She invested this creative energy in art classes and activities in and outside of school. Art always expressed her desire to create, inspire, and uplift those around her. Quickly her career path took shape after realizing the connection between her love for art and the beauty industry.
After graduating from Z Hair Academy in Overland Park, Emma spent six years learning and growing as a master stylist at Salon Z. In 2020, the opportunity to start her own business behind the chair arose, and Stitch Salon (formerly Emma's Style Studio) was launched within BluSky Salon Suites in Corbin Park.
The past 10 years in the hairdressing industry have been the most rewarding and empowering experience for Emma.
"The relationships I get to build behind my chair are very dear to my heart. I feel so lucky to spend each day listening, relating, and helping people feel gorgeous, pampered, and taken care of. By striving to know you beneath whatโs on the surface, I am able to create the style that is best fit for you and your lifestyle."
In the summer of 2022, Emma hired her first co-stylist, Raegan Abel, onto her team. Raegans passion is helping women achieve their dream hair with dimensional color and Invisible Bead Extensions. Raegan is a driven force in the industry whose calling is to create an at-home vibe during your luxury salon experience.
Together, this dynamic duo is bringing Kansas City the most advanced, top-of-the-line extension and dimensional color experiences in their brand-new, three-chair salon studio right in the heart of Overland Park.
